Transplant Tales: to China and back

94 A.T.

Last night Anderson Cooper 360, aired their interview on Eric and his story. All in all, I think it was very tastefully.

Check it out, see what you think.

It asked the same question as we did before. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Dear Mr. De Leon,

We are currently making a pilot for the BBC World channel called 'My World',a programme which takes a look a worldwide look at ways that people are using the web. We would be interested in featuring your own story as recorded in your blog 'Transplant Tales: to China and back'. Would you be interested in being a part of the programme?

Best wishes,
Bianca Leggett
(Researcher at Clark Pictures, makers of 'My World')

Dear Mr. De Leon,

My father had a liver tumour which was 6.8cm in size removed in Feburary this year, however in May06' the doctors have discovered 3 lesions which suspicious tumours. He is not eligible for the transplant list as his primary tumour was too big according to the Milan's criteria adopted by the hospitals here. (We're from Singapore) Since the disheartening news, we've been trying to find out more about hospitals and gather as much information about China. The doctor here told us that if possible to get my dad to undergo the transplant asap (max bout 2-3months). I came across your story while searching online, and I'm glad that your transplant is successful. I'm hoping that you can provide me with some info on how about you manage to get in contact with the hospitals in China and what are the procedures like?

I really hope to hear from you soon and i appreciate your kind attention.

Thank you very much =)
